Dolores V. (Kachanuk) Lisko, 88, of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Richland Township. She was born September 26, 1928, in Curtisville to the late Anthony and Ella Stefan Kachanuk. Dolores was the owner of the Dolores Lisko Beauty Shop in Natrona Heights, and later worked in the cafeteria at Allegheny Valley Hospital and as a teachers aide for Highlands School District. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in New Kensington, where she was a former church council member and very active in all the activities at the church. Dolores, along with her late husband enjoyed dancing. Dolores is survived by her children, Deborah (Ed) Hollis, of Valencia and Richard F. (Linda) Lisko, of Double Oak, Tx.; her 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Conlon, Jaclyn (Dennis) Hock, Derek Lisko, Logann Lisko and Devin Lisko; and by her two great grandchildren, Liam and Brady Hock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Lisko on December 3, 1996; brother, John Kachanuk; and by her sister, Margaret Dunning.
There will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church with her pastor the Rev.
