Agnes Mae (Dickson) Cornmesser

April 1, 1922 — February 27, 2017

Agnes Mae Cornmesser, 94, of Washington Township, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge. She was born April 1, 1922, in Verona to the late John and Laura Wilson Dickson. Agnes was a member of the home league of the Salvation Army in New Kensington. She worked on the Kettle Drive for the Salvation Army for many years. Agnes loved playing bingo and spending time with her sister, Peg. She is survived by children, Donna G. Brink, of Washington Township, Mary E. Bogan, of Calabash, NC, and Charles L. (Lori) Cornmesser, of New Kensington; grandchildren, Carl D. Keller, Brenda L. Moran, Linda S. Smith, Crystal K. Keller, Joseph S. Jendrejewski, Kurt E. Jendrejewski, April M. McDonald, Charles L. Cornmesser Jr., Michael McMunn and Matthew McMunn; 20 great grandchildren and by her 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Cornmesser, granddaughter, Wendy Dunbar; great grandchildren, Donna Lynn Keller and Paul Joseph Dunbar; brothers, James and Roy; and by her sisters, Bessie and Peg.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Funeral ceremonies will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
