Alfred D. Coriale Sr., 94, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday,
January 8, 2019 at Alter Care, Brimfield, Ohio. He was born January 15,
1924, in Utica, New York to the late Alphonso and Rose Demme Coriale.
Alfred was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy Seabees in the
Pacific Theater. He retired in 1974 from the Highlands School District. Alfred
was a life member of Citizens Volunteer Hose Company and the V.F.W. Post 894,
both in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Alfred is survived
by his two sons, Gary (Joanne) Coriale, of Mantua, Ohio and Alfred 'Butch' (Peggy)
Coriale Jr., of South Buffalo Township; grandchildren, Chris (Christina) Coriale, Julie
Coriale (Holly), Greg (Jennifer) Coriale and Jessica (Rich) Howenstine; and by his great
grandchldren, Kaylan Coriale, Michala Coriale, Lorelai Howenstine, Anna Coriale, Benjamin
Coriale, Jackson Coriale and Elizabeth Coriale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by his wife of 63 years, Emily F. Jablonowski Coriale on June 7, 2010; brothers, Charles
and Samuel Coriale and by his sisters, Adelene Coriale and C. Rose Ellis.
Services and burial for Alfred were private. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-
