Amelia J. (Frederick) Frantz

Amelia J. (Frederick) Frantz, 74, of Natrona Heights , passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Logan Place, Lower Burrell. She was born January 30, 1943, in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph and Lillian Gibson Frederick. Millie was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish in Natrona Heights. She enjoyed baking and wintering at their home in Florida. Millie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Frantz Sr.; her son, Donald (Vicki) Frantz Jr., of Natrona Heights; and by her two grandsons, Sean Patrick and Erik Joseph Frantz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Frantz on December 20, 1991; and by her sister, Margaret Zinn.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Millie may be made to Hilltop Hose Company, P.O. Box 214, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
