Andrew Logan Patton left us in this world and joined his wife Mary in the presence of our Heavenly
Father on Wednesday, November 8th at the age of sixty seven.
He is survived by his two sisters, Loree Tannett and Lenore Dittrich Zotter, and his son, Andrew
Patton and his wife, Amanda and two grandchildren, Skylar and Miles Patton, Uncle Bob and Aunt Dorthy Patton as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Andrews interests included anything mechanical, nautical and mathematical. He also passed his time
crocheting blankets and his dogs were a great comfort to him.
He worked as a security officer with Burns International for many years and was learning to be a welder
when he came down with pneumococcal pneumonia. That put him on disability as it destroyed his lungs,
and led to many other health problems.
He was a long standing member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints where he found a
connection to the Lord and good friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 10:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints at 247 Kelly Blvd, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
A luncheon will be provided by the church after the memorial service.
