Anita L. Jacobs

Anita L. Jacobs, 58, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born September 30, 1957, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of the late Edmond D. and Louise E. Moineau Jacobs. Anita was a 1975 graduate of Highlands High School. She worked and an Insurance Broker for Altany, Loynd & Lindquist, Inc., in Brackenridge. Anita was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. She enjoyed reading, traveling, crafts shows, was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, going out to eat and watching Amazing Race and Survivor on TV. Anita is survived by her cousins, Tom (Joanne) Jacobs, Lori Fitch, Edward (Marion) Petit and Teresa Valasek; nieces and nephews, Godson, Chad (Jamie) Valasek, RJ (Kristi) Valaek and their daughter, Allie, Cristina Valasek, Nathan (April) Petit, Tyler Petit and Cole and Logan Fitch; and by her other relatives and friends. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond D. Jacobs on June 2, 2012 and Louise E. Moineau Jacobs on January 6, 1988.
Friends will be received on Tuesday form 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. James Mazurek. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Anita may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
