Ann (Bunish) Fedorenko, 91, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Harmar Village Care Center, Harmarville. She was born June 16, 1925, in Dunglen, Ohio, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Pawlock Bunish. Ann was a graduate of Har-Brack High School. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in New Kensington, where she also taught Sunday School. An accomplished seamstress, Ann, was known for making gifts for all of her family and friends and also made the robes for the altar servers at her church. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies and the kitchen was the focal point of her home. Ann was always very loving and generous with her grandchildren, with whom she loved spending time. Ann is survived by her husband of 66 years, Andrew Fedorenko; children, Michael (Kathy) Fedorenko, of Pelham, Alabama and Barbara (William) Wood, of Lower Burrell; and by her grandchildren, Mark Fedorenko, Lisa Wood, Kristine Fedorenko and Alexis Wood.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. Nikolai Breckenridge. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ann may be made to Grane Hospice, 260 Alpha Drive, Suite 100, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15238 or to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 150 Elmtree Rd., New Kensington, Pa. 15068.
