Arthur M. 'Mickey' Muir, 81, of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Bayberry Place, Lower Burrell. He was born May 9, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Arthur and Catherine Southward Muir. Mickey worked for 22 years as a Tool and Die Maker for Alcoa in New Kensington and then worked for the former Contraves Corp. in O'Hara Township. He was the owner of the former M&M Machining and Design. Mickey was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed skiing , boating and classic cars. Mickey is survived by his sister, Toni M. (Mark A.) Klemens, of Mt. Pocono; and by his nephew, Geoffrey Klemens; and niece Malany Klemens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Muir; and sister-in-law, Aldora Muir.
Friends will be received on Monday from 5-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. James Mazurek. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
