Bernard J. Kramarik, 70, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born April 5, 1947, in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph and Mary Banichar Kramarik. Bernie worked as an accountant and worked for H&R Block during tax season. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona and the Knights of Columbus council 2602 in Natrona. Bernie enjoyed golfing, reading, and watching sports, especially Penn State. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane Hohos Kramarik; his sons, David Kramarik (Danielle McHenry), of New Kensington and Mark Kramarik, of Natrona Heights; and by his brothers, Arthur (Kathleen) Nowicki, of Midlothian, Va., and Bernard (Patricia) Nowicki, of Natrona Heights. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle who raised him, Robert and Ann Nowicki.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in St. Ladislaus Church with his pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bernie may be made to the Transplant Institute at Allegheny General Hospital, 320 East North Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212 or to the Knights of Columbus, 28 Garfield St., Natrona, Pa. 15065.
