Bernice Marie (Campbell) Szymanski, 89, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday. May 25, 2021, with her family at her side. She was born on August 10, 1931, in Ford Cliff, a daughter of the late Alvin and Edith (Lease) Campbell. Bernice was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Bernice loved to cook and bake and was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan. She also enjoyed fishing, telling jokes and spending time with her family. Bernice is survived by her children, Elaine (Rodger) Temple, of Natrona Heights and Kurt Szymanski, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Chad Holsing (Tanya Curtis), Bryan (Erin) Holsing, Danielle (Doug) Gasperic, Kurt Szymanski Jr., Heidi Szymanski (Eric Davis) and Bobbi Jo Graham; step-grandchildren, Ainslie (Gary) Cooper and Jeffrey (Shannon) Temple; 15 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. "Moon" Szymanski on October 28, 2019; brothers, Alvin Campbell Jr., Harry Campbell and Norman Campbell and by her sisters, Mildred Crytzer and Gwen Livengood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, with the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss as celebrant.
