Betty M. Ward

Betty M. (Woodrow) Ward, 83, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at her home. She was born April 16, 1932, in Fawn Township, a daughter of the late Carl and Zelma Hughes Woodrow. Betty enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, shopping and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela (David) Kisiel, of Natrona Heights, and Jeannie (Tom) Monarko, of Fawn Towsnhip; three grandchildren, Tom Monarko and Monica and Michelle Kisiel; sister, Mary Montgomery, of Russellton; and brother-in-law, Gerald Frayer, of Sarver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Ward, on Sept. 7, 1976; her son, Ronald Woodrow; grandson, Bryan L. Ward; brothers, Laverne and Elmer Woodrow; sister, Martha Frayer; and by her brother-in-law, Russell Montgomery.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. Funeral services and burial will be private.
