Carolyn J. (Elgin) Barnett

Carolyn J. (Elgin) Barnett, 75, of Buffalo Township, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Cabot. She was born Agust 11, 1941, in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Edward W. and Dorothy M. Menett Elgin. Carolyn was a member of the Evangel Heights Assembly of God Church, in Buffalo Township and the Armstrong County Area React. Carolyn lived for and loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William C. Barnett; her children, William E. (Susan) Barnett, of Natrona Heights and Kimberly S. (Kenneth) Smith, of Buffalo Township; seven grandchildren, Jeff, Jenna, Josh, Kelly, Jason, Ken and Scott; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Elgin, of West Palm Beach, Florida; and sister, Laura (Charles) Anderson, of Freeport.
A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Evangel Heights Assembly of God Church, 120 Beale Road, Sarver. Officiating will be the Rev. John Kuert. To send and on line condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
