Carolyn R. Rogalski Adams, 85, of Saxonburg passed away Wednesday at Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.
She was born Feb. 13, 1930, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late John and Sophie Sobczak Rogalski.
Carol was a 1948 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Carol enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, table games and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years, John R. Adams; her children, Scott (Carlene) Adams of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Kathy Chopp (Joe Carozza), of Gibsonia; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Freda Petit of Natrona Heights.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John R. Adams Jr. on Feb. 17, 2002; her brothers, Casimir and Stanley Rogalski; and her sisters, Frances Grabowski, Claire Kitlas and Sophie Stanoski.
ADAMS - There will be no public visitation for Carolyn R. Adams, who died Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. James Mazurek, her pastor, as celebrant. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Carol may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C., 20090 or to the American Heart Association , 5455 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43211.
