Cecelia A. Jenniches, 95, of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, in UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 1, 1920, in Natrona, a daughter of the late William and Mary Harenski Gajda. Cecelia worked for many years in the dietary department at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Cecelia enjoyed reading. Cecelia is survived by her two sons, Joseph (Suzanne) Jenniches, of Bethany Beach, Del., and Fred (Karen) Jenniches, of Natrona Heights; two grandchildren, Dan and Kelly Jenniches; and by her sister, Florence Wojciechowski, of Natrona Heights. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Krzeminski; and by her husband, Ambrose F. Jenniches, who died May 7, 1979.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, with her pastor, the Rev. James Mazurek, as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Arrangements are under the care of the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688.
