Cecelia (Drupieski) Trawinsky

Cecelia (Drupieski) Trawinsky, 92, of Natrona, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Cannonsburg. She was born July 23, 1925, in Natrona to the late Stanley and Blanche Cheslak Drupieski. Cecelia was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish and a former member of the American Legion Post 48 Ladies Auxiliary both in Natrona. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, cooking, music and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Cecelia is survived by her two daughters, Carole (Ronald) Virag, of Latrobe and Barbara (Edward) Thimons, of Bethel Park; six grandchildren, Darin Virag, Edward (Julie) Thimons, Michael (Kim) Virag, Heather Sanders, Nathan (Jen) Thimons and Dayna (Brandon) Jones; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Dolores McKrisky, of Natrona Heights, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Trawinsky on September 18, 1997, grandson, Scott Thimons, brothers, Edward, Leonard, Raymond, Bernard and Richard Drupieski and by her sister, Jane Pelczarski.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in St. Ladislaus Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
