Cecil "Keith" Knee, 69, formerly of Lower Burrell and Corry, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, in the Park Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, West Mead Township, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He was born Oct. 22, 1946, in New Kensington, a son of the late Cecil and Rita Blandford Knee. Keith was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the Navy. He retired after 26 years of service as a mechanic/millwright from Westinghouse in Cheswick. Keith was also the former owner of Rascals Tavern in Corry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors; and he was an avid Steelers fan. Keith is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ellen Basnak Knee; daughters, Dana (Chad) Eagle, of Elk, Wash., and Hailey Knee, of Wilmington, Del.; three grandchildren; and by his sisters, Margaret (Gene) Heuvel, of Erie, and Doris (Richard) Guyer, of Syracuse, N.Y. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Knee.
Services were private. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Arrangements are under the care of the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688.
