Cecilia A. (Anuszek) Haught Olschefsky, 86, of Natrona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born April 17, 1937, in Natrona to the late Chester and Mary (Orkwiszewski) Anuszek. Cecilia was a 1955 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She retired from the housekeeping department at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Cecilia was a member of Guardian Angels Parish Natrona Heights Campus and a member of the former St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Cecilia enjoyed cooking, baking, polka music and polka dancing and gave a home to many rescue dogs. She is survived by her children, Gary (Susan) Haught, of Jacksonville, NC and Gloria (Robert) Gross, of Allegheny Township, grandchildren, Leeann McBurney (Mike Gonzalez), Danielle (Zach) Cieply, Christopher (Erika) Gross, April (Nick) Hartman, Gary Haught Jr., Renee (Christopher) Rendon and Randy Black, great-grandchildren, Calista, Lanie, Rey, Viv, Max, Colton, Tenley, Myla, Jack, Leela, Tessa, Emma and Bryce, sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Dudek, of Natrona Heights and by her dog "Coco".. In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Haught on August 25, 1989, second husband, Melvin K. Olschefsky on February 7, 1998, grandson, Terry Black, great-grandchildren, Ashton and Braydon, brother, Chester Anuszek and sister, Marcie Cislo.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
