Clark R. Shoemaker, 67, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, October 18, 2024 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born October 28, 1956, in Natrona Heights to the late Harry H. and Louise C. (Helgert) Shoemaker. Clark was a graduate of Highlands High School class of 1974. He retired in 2015 from Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge, where he worked as a crane operator, and made many lifelong friends. Clark enjoyed everything life had to offer, but some of the activities he was most fond of was being with his family, sunning in his back yard, travelling to Myrtle Beach and going on cruises, enjoying a beer or captain and coke, baking cookies, making chocolate fudge, listening to WDVE, watching and attending any type of sporting event, and getting into trouble with his wife, Robin. The best that can be said about a man is that he was decent and kind and loved, respected and supported his whole family. That was Clark. Clark is survived by his wife of 47 years, Robin (Kolwicz) Shoemaker, son, Michael (Branna) Shoemaker, of Natrona Heights. Grandchildren Michael Logan Walker, Thomas Clark Walker, son in-law Eric Walker. Brothers Barry (Janet) Shoemaker, Kent (Josie) Shoemaker, Jay (Rose) Shoemaker, Nieces and Nephews. Mother in-law Patricia Kolwicz, brother in-law Micky (Sue) Kolwicz, sister in-law Terri (Bob) Sader, and brother in-law Bill Bele. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Daughter Erica Walker (Shoemaker), brothers, Harry, Tom, Allen and sisters Karen Malinoski and Janet Beresik. Father in-law Michael Kolwicz, sister in-law Paula Bele. Clark gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. He touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed.
