David I. Jablonowski, 64, of Tarentum, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born October 12, 1953, in New Kensington to the late Henry A. and Dorothy V. Orkwis Jablonowski. Dave was a 1973 graduate of Burrell High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Dave retired in 2012 as a shipper in the #3 Department from Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. He was a former member of the Braeview Volunteer Fire Department and the 78th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company F. Dave was a civil war history buff and re-enactor and enjoyed camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly Kusenko Jablonowski; daughters, Sherry Boroto, of Michigan and Michelle (David) Everhart, of Tarentum; grandson, John Everhart; brothers, Donald A. Jablonowski and Stanley J. (Sherri) Jablonowski, both of Lower Burrell; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Jablonowski.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM.
