Delores A. Sowinski

Delores A. (Skowronski) Sowinski, 79, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  She was born January 16, 1943, in Natrona Heights a daughter of the late Charles & Mary (Kocon) Skowronski.  Delores was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Natrona Heights and the Westmoreland Ski Club.  She enjoyed skiing, knitting and making homemade jewelry.  Delores is survived by her son, Michael R. (Dawna) Sowinski, of Gilpin Township; grandchildren, Michael and Meghan Sowinski, brother, Charles (Kim) Skowronski, of Slate Lick, nephew, Nick (Susie) Skowronski, niece,  Dr. Jenna Skowronski and by two great nephews.  In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Sowinski and by her son, Matthew Sowinski.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.  Burial will be in Mt.
