Dolores Ann Rummel

Dolores Ann "Doe" (Johnston) Rummel, 86, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Barnes Place. Latrobe. She was born November 17, 1934, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Renice "Bus" and Kathryn (Rittenhouse) Johnston. Doe worked for many years for Joe Clark Chocolates in Tarentum. She was a life member of the Escapes RV club and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Doe is survived by her children, Lee (Lori) Rummel, of Natrona Heights and Vikki (Bob) Rossey, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Bethaney (Tony) Calabrace, Shannon (Tim) Sample, Shawn (Stacey) Rossey and Nicole (Jayson) Brown; and by her great-grandchildren, Brenden and Breawna Calabrace, Isiacc and Ella Brown, Deacon Sample and Bryce, Brylee, Bryar and Bryten Rossey. In addition to her parents, Doe was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Leroy "Butch" Rummel on December 29, 2019, two great-grandsons, Sebastian and Timothy Sample and by her sister, Joyce Ritchey.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dolores may be made to Bridges Hospice, 515 Pleasant Valley Road, Trafford, Pa. 15085.
