Donald E. Kuhn

Donald E. Kuhn, 83, of Arnold, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born May 10, 1932, in Brackenridge, a son of the late Charles and Violet Graybigle Kuhn. Don was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army. He retired in 1991 after 43 years of service as a dispatcher from Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge. Don enjoyed football, traveling, yard work and working on his car. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dena Vasil Kuhn; daughter, Wanda (Michael) Stough, of York; stepson, Capt. David (Irina) Veschi, of Columbus, Ga.; stepdaughter, Delia (John) Swords, of Joplin, Mo.; grandson, Daniel (Sarah) Coppersmith; step-grandson, Derek Veschi; great-grandchildren, Kiegan and Ivie Coppersmith; and by his brother, Thomas Kuhn, of Fawn Township. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Clarence "Bob", Charles "Leonard" and George Kuhn.
There will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, in Mt. St. Peter Church, New Kensington.
