Donald R. Burk

Donald R. Burk, 75, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born September 17, 1946 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania to the late Francis and Phoebe (Hamor) Burk. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of Hetrick Manufacturing and Air Tak Manufacturing. Don was a jack of all trades, was an avid golfer and adored his four grandchildren. Don also enjoyed piloting his plane for both business and pleasure trips. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah (Hetrick) Burk; children, Owen (Terra) Burk, of Leechburg and Carie (Todd) Manzer, of Little River, S.C.; grandchildren, Lucas and Liam Burk and Harper and Bryce Manzer and by his brothers, Frank (Ginny) Burk, of Falls Church, Va. and Tom (Marilyn) Burk, of Randolph, N.J.
