Doretta I. (Archibald) Kurn

Doretta I. (Archibald) Kurn, 95, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home. She was born July 6, 1923, in Natrona Heights to the late Charles and Mamie Cunningham Archibald. Doretta worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Fred Kurn in Creighton. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Township. Doretta enjoyed quilting, cooking and she loved her church and her church friends. She is survived by her two sons, Randall Kurn, of Natrona Heights and Dennis (Marlene) Kurn, of Buffalo Township; several grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; by her sister, Betty Witchey, of Lower Burrell; brother-in-law, Dr. Fred Kurn, of Florida; sister-in-law, Carrie 'Sis' Ehrman, of Fawn Township and by her beloved neighbors and friends. In addition to her parents, Doretta was preceded in death by her husband, William Kurn II in 1990; her son, William Kurn III, brother, Charles Archibald and by her sister, Isabelle Prager.
