Dorothy M. (Brokaw) Anchors

Dorothy M. (Brokaw) Anchors, 90, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born February 27, 1927, in New Kensington to the late Earl and Etta Willard Brokaw. Dorothy worked as a sales clerk at the former Sun Drug Store in Natrona Heights. She was of the Methodist faith. Dorothy enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her children, Carole (Larry) Walker, of Arnold and Kelly (Darlene) Anchors, of Applewold; three grandchildren, Heather (Joseph) Pencak, Robert Anchors and Jamie (Chuck) Kiehl Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Hailie and Talon Kiehl; brother, Joseph Brokaw, of Altoona; and by her sister, Evelyn (Ronald) Abel, of Aiken, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Anchorson April 9, 1978; her son Mark Anchors, brothers, Earl and Robert Brokaw; and by her sister, Betty Sykes.
