Dorothy M. (Derewicz) Teorsky

Dorothy M. (Derewicz) Teorsky, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. She was born October 17, 1930, in Natrona to the late Walter and Mary Jasiecki Derewicz. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was employed at the former Brackenridge Heights Country Club and also at Most Blessed Sacrament School both in Natrona Heights. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the Red Hat Society and the Sisters of St. Joseph. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and also important to Dorothy were her faith and love of her church. Dorothy is survived by her four sons, Thomas J. (Denise) Teorsky, of West Deer Township, Robert M. Teorsky (Jonnan Klebusch), of New Kensington, David A. (Stephanie) Teorsky, of Sarver and Edward J. Teorsky, of Natrona Heights; seven grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa), Ryan, Andrew, Kristie, Michael, Patrick and Stevie Teorsky and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Teorsky on January 22, 2006; brothers, Walter and John Francis Derewicz; and by her sisters, Mary Derewicz, Helen Pakulski, Ceil Osan and Martha Mrozinski.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Freeport.
