Edward P. "Bikey" Biciolis, 68, of Freeport, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 27, 1947, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Ignatius and Pauline Unites Biciolis. Ed was a 1970 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in business administration. Working in business management his entire career, Ed was the co-owner of a business with his wife for the past 23 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus, Council 2602, both in Natrona. Ed enjoyed golfing with his brothers and helping others with acts of kindness and generosity. He lived for and loved his family and beloved pets dearly. Ed is survived by his wife of 41 years, Robin Divelbiss Biciolis; his daughters, Katherine (Michael) Berquist, of Pittsburgh, and Suzanne (John) Ruggieri, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Emily and Gabriel Ruggieri and Noelle Berquist; and by his brother, Dennis Biciolis, of Natrona. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Biciolis.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Natrona Heights, with his pastor, the Rev. James Mazurek, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell. The Knights of Columbus will hold services at 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
