Eileen F. (Hrnciar) Sadowski, 89, of Natrona, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born July 30, 1932, in Brackenridge to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Pollack) Hrnciar. Eileen was a 1950 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She retired after 28 years of service as a Dietary Technician from the Dietary Department at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Eileen was a member of Guradian Angels Parish. St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona, American Legion Post 48 in Natrona and the P.N.A. Group #599 in Natrona. In her younger years Eileen was an avid swimmer and was a member of the YMCA Swim Team. Eileen enjoyed playing cards, bingo, puzzle books and watching her grandson and great grandson play baseball. She is survived by her son, David (Kim) Sadowski, of Lower Burrell, grandson, Justin Sadowski, great-grandson, Jaden Yarris and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C. Sadowski on October 9, 2011, daughter, Susan Sadowski on December 27, 2004, brothers, Alvin and Edward Hrnciar and by her sisters, Josephine Fullerton and Margaret Vojtecky.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Chruch with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The family requests those attending the visitation and mass to please wear a face covering.
