Eleanor Valasek

Eleanor (Norbut) Valasek, 86, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 14, 2025. She was born July 2, 1938, in Verona to the late Walter and Eleanor (Pablonis) Norbut. Eleanor was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Natrona Heights Campus. She enjoyed playing bingo, horror movies, playing her numbers, and was an avid Steeler fan. Eleanor was an animal lover and enjoyed feeding her squirrels and birds. In her younger years, Eleanor enjoyed cooking, baking and canning.  Eleanor is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Sheri) Valasek, of Penn Township and her caregiver, Jeffrey Valasek, of Buffalo Township, grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tyler (Haley), Derek and Ashley, great grandchildren, Milo and Ava June and by her sister, Patricia McNally, of Buffalo Township. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Valasek on January 21, 2017 and by her son Walter Timothy Valasek.
