Ethel E. (Kovac) Huet

February 24, 1927 — September 23, 2018

Ethel E. (Kovac) Huet, 91, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia, Cabot. She was born February 24, 1927, in Natrona Heights to the late Matthew and Emilia Knasko Kovac. Ethel was a 1945 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She worked as a secretary at PPG in Creighton and was a homemaker. Ethel was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the former St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brackenridge. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her sisters, trips to the casinos and spending time with her family, especially the Sunday dinners at her home. Ethel is survived by her children, Annette (Joseph) Celko, of Buffalo Township, Timothy Huet (Catherine Younkins), of Natrona Heights, William (Lori) Huet, of Natrona Heights and James (Patricia) Huet, of Natrona Heights; daughter-in-law, Marlene Huet, of Buffalo Township, grandchildren, Darci Huet, Leslie (Joel) McCann, Thomas (Alyssa) Huet, Ashley Huet (fiance, Dylan Seelnacht), James Huet, William Huet (fiance, Lauren Miller), Matthew Huet, Eric Huet, Allison Huet and Amelia Huet; great grandchildren, Ariana McCall, Joey McCann, MacKinlay Huet, Jaxon Huet and Kennedy Huet; and by her siblings, John Kovac, of Brackenridge, Walter (Blanche) Kovac, of Natrona Heights, Margaret (John) Gaydac, of Lower Burrell, Millie Filo, of Brackenridge and Wilma Gonzalez, of Natrona Heights. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Huet on December 1, 2001 and by her son, Thomas R. Huet on August 17, 2002.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. Jerome Panzigrau. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
