Frances H. Adamovits

Frances H. (Wisniewski) Adamovits, 83, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at Platinum Ridge Center, Brackenridge. She was born Oct. 10, 1932, in Natrona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Slomkowski Wisniewski. Frances was a 1953 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and the Brackenridge American Legion Auxiliary. Frances enjoyed playing bingo, her trips to the casino and watching the Hallmark Channel movies and other movies on TV. She is survived by her children, Roxann Adamovits (Bill Zbryski), of Arnold, Mark (Rhonda) Adamovits, of Columbus, Ohio, and Joseph Adamovits, of Natrona Heights; brother, Edward (Yvonne) Jungle, of Butler; and sisters, Connie Hudson, of Greenville and Bernice (John) Gilboux, of San Antonio, Texas; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother who raised her, Caroline Wisniewski; her husband, Charles A. Adamovits, on March 13, 2010; brothers, Raymond "Cherries" and Stanley Wisniewski; and by her sister, Sophie Natskakula.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
