Frances J. "Sis" (Kort) Harbison, 87, of Tarentum passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. She was born January 9, 1938 in Natrona to the late Edward and Jane (Malak) Kort. Sis worked at First Commonwealth Bank (formerly Southwest Bank) as a teller for 40 years. She enjoyed doing word searches, QVC shopping, taking care of her cats, and keeping her house neat as a pin. She is Survived by her daughters, Suzanne (John) Petrak, of Natrona Heights and Sandra (Darryl) Novotny, of Sarver; and son Gary (Patty) Lisko of Sarver. grandchildren, Fawn (Wally) Natskakula, Dr. Zak (Kayla) Petrak, Olivia (Brandon) Waterhouse , Ava (Austin) Duffy and Gary Lisko, Jr.; great grandchildren; Blaze, Maria, Olivia, Maci, Augustus and Cade; Her cherished niece Holly (Greg) VanWagenen; Nephews, Scott Garrett and Richard (Mickey) Garrett and great nieces, Hope, Haley, and Hannah. In addition to her parents, Sis was preceded in death by her husband Russell Harbison and by her sister, Kathleen Garrett, as well as many of her beloved animals. Sis was known as a quiet, elegant woman, who dressed impeccably. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren as "Gramma Pretty".
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of a parting prayer service at 11:30 a.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
