Frances Kusma

Frances (Olczak) Kusma, 92, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Born November 8, 1928 in West Natrona, she was a daughter of the late Bronislaw and Eva (Domaza) Olczak. Frances was a 1947 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She was married to her husband, Mike for 30 years and lived her entire life in Natrona Heights. Frances was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights and a member of the O.L.P.H. Rosary Society. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother. Kind, compassionate and loving are the foundation which Frances chose to live her life. She was the rock of her family, the glue that held them together, including being a caregiver to her siblings. She taught us her diligent work ethics and how to make decisions from the heart, which you will never regret. Her life of faith, hope and love cannot to silenced by death. The good she has created will live on in the hearts of all who were able to experience a part of her soul. Continue each day to be a little kinder to one another, a little more giving to those in need and simply love each other without looking for anything in return. By accomplishing this, you will honor and live her legacy.

Frances is survived by her daughters/caregivers, Janice and Virginia. In addition to her parents and siblings, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Kusma on September 13, 1984 and by her son-in-law, Russell in February 2021.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
