Frances (Kiselick) Svitek, 90, of Brackenridge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. She was born October 24, 1930, in Brackenridge to the late Stephen and Julia (Adams) Kiselick. Fran was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She worked as a Nurses Aid for 13 years at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Fran was a member of St. Ladislaus Church of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona, Guradian Angels Ladies of Charity, Secular Franciscans and the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Stan) Necheff, of Natrona Heights, Thomas Svitek, of Nashville, Tenn., Joseph (Paula) Svitek, of Naples, Florida, Christina Svitek, of Nashville, Tenn., Mary Beth (Dan) Conner, of Sho Low, Az., Michele Svitek, of Natrona Heights, Michael (Jane) Svitek, of Middlefield, Ct., and Melissa (Ulrich) Seuster, of Charlotte, NC., grandchildren, John Svitek, Christian (Jessica) Necheff, Patrick Svitek, Emily Svitek, Christopher Svitek, Savannah Bayer, Noel Bayer, Erik Seuster and Alexander Seuster and by her great grandchildren, Mileena Svitek, Hazel Necheff and Easton Necheff. In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Svitek on August 17, 2011, brothers, William Kiselick, John Kiselick, Steve Kiselick and Joseph Kiselica and by her sisters, Margaret Rozic and Mary Elavski.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Church with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. The Guardian Angels Ladies of Charity will hold services in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Frances may be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, Pa. 16023.
