Gerald W. Woodhall, 69, of Vandergrift, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born November 4, 1946, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late William S. and Welba H. Lavinder Woodhall. Gerald was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corp. He worked as a meat cutter for many years at several area supermarkets. Gerald enjoyed fishing, his motorcycles and listening to Doo Wop music. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Doris Snyder Woodhall; his five sons, Devin (Andrea) Woodhall of Vandergrift, Joshua Woodhall, of Leechburg, Trevor Woodhall, of Apollo, Troy (Cindy) Woodhall, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Todd (Michelle) Woodhall, of Waynesville, MO; six grandchildren, Ethan, Sawyer, Shannon, Stormi, Ryan and Aaron Woodhall; brothers, William (Alba) Woodhall, of Natrona Heights and Jack (Peggy) Woodhall, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and by his sister, Carol Erskine, of Tarentum. Friends will be received on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of service at 3:00 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Officiating will be the Rev. Todd Ruggles. Burial will be private. In lieu of Flowers, contributions in memory of Gerald may be made to his family.
