Gloria (Millen) Bello, 90, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless. She was born June 29, 1925, in Tarentum, a daughter of the Stephen and Mary Pettit Millen. Gloria was a 1943 graduate of Har-Brack High School and attended Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh for three years, majoring in engineering. She worked at PPG Industries in Creighton for 11 years. Gloria was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the Ladies Auxiliary at Allegheny Valley Hospital and the Women's Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing at Brackenridge Heights Country Club and bowling. Gloria is survived by her children, Gloria (John) Witt, of McCandless, and Charles Bello, of Fawn Township; and by her three grandsons, Jacob and Keegan Bello and Drew Witt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bello, on March 28, 1997; and by her brothers, Eugene and James Millen.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor, the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart-St. Peter Cemetery, Frazer Township.
