Guy J. Gula

Guy J. "Skip" Gula, 61, of Brackenridge, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was born March 21, 1961, in Natrona Heights to Guy R. and Clare (Nickolaus) Gula, of Brackenridge. Skip was a graduate of Highlands High School. He worked as a machinist for Pitt Penn Oil in Creighton. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Skip was an avid hunter and fisherman. You know one of those with all the stories. If you met Skip you would never forget his beautiful green eyes, kind heart and passion for the outdoors. He loved his friends and family as we all adored and loved him back. In addition to his parents listed above, Skip is survived by his siblings, Richard Gula, of Brackenridge, Leslie (Craig) McKinney, of Kittanning and Angela Gula (Terry Welling), of Brackenridge; daughters, Alycia Gula (Larry Weathersby), of New Kensington, Cory (Casey) Tomayko, of Tarentum and Kristin Gula, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Isaiah, Aiden, Micah, Ruca and Knox and by numerous nieces and nephews. Skip was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Gula, maternal grandmother, Florence Nickolaus and by his paternal grandparents, Guy and Edith Gula.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
