James B. Lorenzini, 84, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born November 20, 1936, in Tarentum a son of the late Bruno and Emma Louise (Maltagliati) Lorenzini. Jim was a 1954 graduate of Tarentum High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as an M.P. in the Korean War. Jim retired as a foreman from United States Steel in Saxonburg. He was a member of the Oregon Club in Brackenridge. Jim was a Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed playing euchre, family vacations in Myrtle Beach, Sunday family dinners and hunting and fishing with his grandsons. Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandra (Urban) Lorenzini; his daughter, Michele (John) Bonitsky, of Buffalo Township; his grandsons, Craig Bonitsky (Fiance" Justine Rotto), David Bonitsky and Tyler Bonitsky (Fiance" Jordyn McGraw) and by his sister, Karen L. (Auggie) Fucci, of Norman, OK. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lorenzini; brother, Albert J. Lorenzini Sr., and by his sisters, Rosalie Gainor and Esther Ameel.
