James L. Paz

James L. Paz, 55, of Brackenridge, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016. He was born February 11, 1961, in Natrona Heights, the son of the late Frank and Alice Heinle Paz. Jim was a 1979 graduate of Highlands High School. He was also a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Jim practiced law since his graduation. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona and the Oregon Club in Brackenridge. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle and riding quads and spending time with his son. He is survived by his son, Braedon Paz, and his mother, Kristen Bubash; brothers, Frank P. (Sue) Paz, of Natrona Heights and John N. Paz, of Natrona Heights; and by his niece and nephew, Sarah and Leo Paz. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-7 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona with his pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jim may be made to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 533 Linden Avenue, New Kensington, Pa. 15068 or the St. Joseph Parish, 1526 Union Avenue, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
