Jane E. (Digirolamo) Scovern

Jane E. (DiGirolamo) Scovern, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Elmcroft of Saxonburg. She was born July 11, 1930, in Brackenridge to the late Emedio and Catherine Mattioli DiGirolamo. Jane was a 1949 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She worked for many years at the former Lloyd Johnson Card Shop in the Heights Plaza. Jane was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing cards and golfing. Jane is survived by her children, Edward (Karen) Scovern, of Buffalo Township, Lawrence (Michele) Scovern, of Hamilton, Virginia, Kenneth (Denise) Scovern, of Buffalo Township and Cathy (Craig) Bero, of Cranberry Township; grandchildren, Jennifer (Curtis) Chase, Kenneth Scovern and Benjamin Scovern; great grandson, Jaxson Scovern; brother, Joseph (Pat) DiGirolamo, of Brackenridge; and by her sisters, Yolanda Drury and Florence Bartkowski, both of Natrona Heights. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Scovern on October 18, 2010; brothers, Raymond, Mario and Frank DiGirolamo; and by her sisters, Ida DiGirolamo and Anita Stellitano.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in St. Ladislaus Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
