Jennie J. Bubash, 94, of Brackenridge, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born September 11, 1921, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Gordon and Sophie Klimkowski. Jennie was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. She was a member of the Brackenridge American Legion Auxiliary, the Rosary Society of OLPH and was an active member of Community Life in Tarentum. Jennie for many years was the majority inspector for the Democratic party. She looked forward to decorating her home for Christmas and enjoyed crafts and bus trips, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Jennie touched many lives and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Jennie was the loving mother of, Robert (Janet) Bubash, Adele (Ken) McCormack, Patrick (Joyce) Bubash, Karen (Louie) Veri, Douglas (Gloria) Bubash and Michele (James) Staninecz; beloved grandmother of, Lisa, Dana, Kristen, Cara, Erin, Jackie, Julie, Angela, Laura, Brent and Lance; beloved great-grandmother of, Joe, Braedon, Benjamin and Julian; sister of, Mary Polisano, Leona Brestensky, Frank 'Dyke' (Jean) Klimkowski and Larry Klimkowski; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Jim DiPerna and Lucy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank P. Bubash on October 21, 1964; her son, Richard Bubash, sisters, Stella Hamilton and Helen Taraszewski; brother, Alfred Klimkowski; and brothers-in-law, Joe Brestensky, Ted Taraszewski and Tom Polisano.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jennie may be made to the Highlands Area Meals-on-Wheels, P.O. Box 395, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
