John E. Foust

John E. "Jack" Foust, 95, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1929, in Sun Mine to the late Charlie and Anna (Barger) Foust. Jack heroically served his country in the Korean War in the 7th Infantry Division and was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. He retired from Breman Express where he worked as a truck driver for 25 years. Jack was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport and the V.F.W. Post 894 in Natrona Heights, where he was the past  Advocate. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife, especially to visit their family. Jack is survived by his children, Sandra (Dennis) Renaldi of Virginia Beach, Va., Ronald (Ray) Foust, of Buffalo Township and John (Kimberly) Foust of South Buffalo Township, grandchildren, Kristiana (Jason) Wallace, Karalee (Jason) Glasser, Adam (Trisha) Foust and Anna Foust and by his great grandchildren, Cameron, Brendan and Olivia Wallace and Adalee and Taylyn Foust. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Emilia E. "Milly" (Pacek) Foust on January 7, 2010, grandson, Charles A. Foust, brothers, Charles (Chuck), Howard, and Richard Foust and sisters, Arlene Leslie, Louise Maletic, Esther Neff, Norma Bartholic and Martha Brown. 

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be by his pastor the Rev. Jeff Truscott. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Freeport. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jack may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church 323 5th Street, Freeport, Pa. 16229.
