John R. Phillips

John Robert Phillips, 50, passed away suddenly in his home Thursday, September 15, 2016. He was born June 22, 1966, in Tarentum. son of John and Olivia (Jentgens) Phillips of Tarentum, brother of Julie (Nick) Taraborrelli of Lower Burrell. Also survived by niece and nephew Olivia and Dylan (Young) Pompa, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. John was a beautiful soul which came out in the music he played his entire life, and will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa R. Young, paternal grandparents, John and Mary Phillips, maternal grandparents Edward and Elizabeth Jentgens.
