Judith J. Walkowiak

Judith J. Walkowiak, 76, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 28, 2016, in West Haven Manor Nursing Home, Apollo. She was born June 9, 1940, in Natrona, to the late Joseph and Steffie Wenskowski Walkowiak. Judith lived in the area for the last 21 years. She had worked for the Montgomery County Schools in Maryland as a junior high teacher for several years before retiring. Judith loved going to the casinos, and especially shopping. She loved her dogs, especially her beagles. Survivors include brother, William C. Walkowiak, of Natrona Heights; her best friend. her beagle, Lottie. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Walkowiak. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday July 31, 2016, in CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Private entombment will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Tarentum. Officiating will be the Rev. John B. Lendvai.
