Kathy N. Zembrowski

Kathy N. Zembrowski, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away comfortably on the evening of January 11, 2025. Born on March 10, 1946, in Natrona Heights, Pa., a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Mihovach) Nowikowski. Kathy moved to Brackenridge, PA, where she resided for the remainder of her life. A 1964 graduate of Har-Brack High School, Kathy dedicated her life to public service, serving as Special Assistant to the 40th State Senate District for ten years and subsequently served in the same capacity to the 4th US Congressional District for six years.

Beyond her distinguished career, Kathy cherished simple joys. She found immense happiness in road trips with her loving husband of 56 years, David, relished social gatherings with friends and family, and was a devoted supporter of her granddaughter Ainsley, attending her school and athletic events. Kathy also maintained a longstanding tradition, never missing her monthly visit to her favorite hairdresser. Known for her great sense of humor, Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, David Zembrowski; her daughter, Rebecca (Erick) Wade; her granddaughter, Ainsley Wade; her brothers, Robert (Barbara) Nowikowski, Greg (Elise) Nowikowski, and Joe Nowikowski; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Olivia Wade, and her brothers, Frank (Jacqueline) Nowikowski and Mark Nowikowski.
