Lawrence Wasilowski, 55, of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Butler. He was born July 15, 1962, in Natrona Heights to the late Zygmunt S. and Sophie Falenski Wasilowski. Lawrence was a 1980 graduate of Highlands High School. He was a veteran of the US Army. Lawrence worked in the kitchen at Bob Evans Restaurant in Cranberry Township. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona. Lawrence enjoyed going out to dinner and was an avid Pirate fan. He is survived by his siblings; Suzanne (Bill) Karacia, of Fawn Township, Edward (Lois) Wasilowski, of New Bethlehem, Elizabeth Wasilowski, of Natrona, Kenneth Wasilowski, of Tarentum, Mary Wasilowski, of Natrona and Robert Wasilowski, of San Francisco, California; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Wasilowski and by his sister, Geraldine Wasilowski.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM in St. Ladislaus Church with his pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant.
