Linda D. Hoover

Linda D. (Gray) Hoover, 74, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was born July 19, 1947, in Natrona Heights to the late Irwin Gray and Betty McGuire Baechtel. Linda worked for over 40 years in enviromental service at the Valley News Dispatch. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping and spending time with her family. Linda is survived by her sister, Beverly McCorkle, of Harwick, nieces, Tammy Hurlbut (John Gross) and Denise (John) Price; nephew, Herbert McCorkle; great nephews, Benjamin and Nicholas Krason and Mason Hurlbut, friend, Marsha Adams; friend and neighbor, Michael Consla; and by her dog, Butternut. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dean L. Hoover on April 8, 2020.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Center United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. C. Drew Myers. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
