Loretta M. (Leoni) McCullough, 85, of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from dementia at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. She was born February 15, 1933, in Freeport to the late Umberto and Ida Marletti Leoni. Loretta was a 1950 graduate of Freeport High School. She was a past president of the Allegheny Valley Junior Women's Club. Loretta and her late husband Ray, were the owners of McCullough Florist and Greenhouse in Brackenridge until she retired and her daughter took over the business. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, sewing, singing and spending time with her family. Loretta is survived by her three sons, Terry, J. Christopher and Rick McCullough; her four daughters, Cindy McCullough, Cheryl (Jerry) Smock, Lynne (Kenneth) Baughman and Beth Ann Townsend; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Leoni; and by her sister, Arlene Leoni Mazur. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond W. McCullough on September 24, 1989; son, Joel P. McCullough; and by her sister, Dolores Roofner.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10:15 AM. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:45 AM in St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Freeport with the Rev. Ronald Maquinana as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
