Lorraine Klemzak

March 8, 1937 — January 12, 2024

Lorraine Klemzak, 86, of Buffalo Township, Sarver, Pennsylvania, passed away January

12 at Rosebrook Assisted Living. Lorraine was under the care of Hospice at the time of

death and passed peacefully. Lorraine was born March 8, 1937, to Walter and Catherine

Klemzak of Sarver. Lorraine was the oldest of 5, and was preceded in death by sisters

Mary Elizabeth Klemzak Smith, Geraldine Klemzak Krzeminski, Eileen Klemzak and by

her brother Robert Klemzak. Lorraine is survived by her loving nieces and nephews,

Gary Smith (Darla) of Chesapeake Va., Karen Smith Bartles (Craig) of Burlington, NC,

Phyllis (David) Krzeminski Penn of Natrona Heights, Pa., Greg Smith (Laura) of

Gainesville, Va., David (Barbara) Krzeminski of Freeport, Pa., Lori (Christy) Krzeminski-

Miller of Natrona Heights, Pa., Shari Smith of Raleigh, NC., Jamie Klemzak of St.

Petersburg Beach, Fla., Patricia Masur of Wilmington, NC, Mary Beth Herwald of Lower

Burell, Pa., and John Kapusnik.

Lorraine was a graduate of Har-Brak High School, and she retired from Mellon Bank

after many years, spending most of her professional career with Mellon. Lorraine also

owned Sarver Ceramics in Buffalo Township where she held many evening classes and

sold greenware to her loyal customers. She was talented in and passionate about

ceramics. Those fortunate to know her through ceramics, saw her love for it. One of her

other hobbies included needlepoint. Lorraine was a member of Guardian Angels Parish,

and former member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic

Church in Natrona Heights.


Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from Noon until the time of a blessing service at 

2:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc. 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.

Lorraine will be laid to rest in Mt. Airy Cemetery alongside her loving parents and other family members.

The family would like to thank Rosebrook Assisted Living in Sarver and Suncrest

Hospice for their loving care of Lorraine over the last 3 years.
