Louis A. Provenzano

Louis A. Provenzano, 96, of Natrona Heights , passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022. He was born March 13, 1925, in Tyler, to the late Alphonso and Rose (Santorsola) Provenzano. Louis moved to Natrona Heights in 1997, prior to that he lived in Penfield. Louis was a 1943 graduate of Huston Township High School. He served his country as a SKD Third Class with the United States Navy , serving in the Pacific on the USS Griffin from 1943-1946. Louis retired in 1987 from the United States Post Office after 35 years as a rural mail carrier in Penfield. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, V.F.W. Post 894 in Natrona Heights, 50 year member of the Sons of Italy, National Rural Letters Carrier Association and a former member of the Penfield Volunteer Fire Company. Louis enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an all around handyman who could fix anything. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Laura Jane (Hickman) Provenzano, whom he married on February 7, 1948; daughter, Carol Kubla; grandson, Eric (Kari) Kubla; his very special great-granddaughter, Macy Kubla and great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Zack) Ridenour, Sydney (Stefan) Clair, Shelby Greece and Ross Greece; 2 great great-grandchildren and by his "other daughter' Kimberly (Dan) Mangus and by his many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Alex Kubla, brother, Frank Provenzano and by his sister, Adele Fauls.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a blessing service at 4:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
